May 12th, 2012I am developing an online ecommnce, similar to amazon.com in functionality.http://bit.ly/GUqFIj I am using wordpress and expect to make use of one of the many wordpress ebusiness themes. However, I will be needing to customize the theme somewhat, and add some custom functionality to the site.
So, I need a WordPress expert who knows all about customizing themes and adding custom functionality. Also, an eye for good design is important.
Please respond to this ad only if you have a history of developing good looking WordPress sites. Please send me links of WordPress sites you have done – that is all I need to see. No need for a long list of skills or generic resumes. I will hire the person with the nicest portfolio of WordPress sites.

Comment form field addition

Transfer WP site to new server
May 12th, 2012Looking for a WP guru to assist with transferring a WP site from a Windows 2003 Server to a Linux/Cpanel server. There is a database involved. Must be able to do it today or tomorrow.
WP 404 / .htaccess / index.php / admin log-in trouble
May 12th, 2012Looking for a reliable and experienced person to take care of a one-off job, but with possible follow-up work with our site in general.
We have made some security related changes to WP and now:
- (1) cannot access the wp-admin login, as we get a 404 page; and
- (2) when we click through the site (the front end is still somewhat operational), the site’s links only work when they are clicked on twice or numerous times, as the first click usually redirects for all links to the http://www.oursite.com/wp directory and also produces a 404 page.
WP is installed in its own subdirectory on our server, but the site address is www.oursite.com.
